It has been a regular feature of the research activities to visit the North East Show of the Year, which was last held at the Peterlee leisure Centre on Saturday November 29th 2003. We checked the blood samples for pigeon reaction in 48 fanciers on this occasion. The results were available at the British homing World Show of the year in Blackpool. Individual communications will be posted to the fanciers concerned very soon.

It is with great pleasure and with grateful thanks, that we can acknowledge receiving a cheque for £2399 from the North of England Homing Union, money which was raised at Peterlee from the auction of pigeons. Below is a list of those who contributed to this exercise to make it such a success.

The cheque was presented to Dr. Boyd and Dr. Lynch at the Blackpool show on January on 17th January by Mr. John E. Brown, former president of the North of England Homing Union.
