Blood samples can be sent to us during the year at any time. Please refer to the following instructions and FAQ below.
WHAT IS THE TEST?
If you are concerned about pigeon lung allergy we strongly advise you to discuss this with your GP first. A diagnosis of pigeon lung is made by your doctor and the blood test result is only a part of this decision.
The blood test that we provide is now widely available in Hospital Service laboratories so your GP might prefer to use these familiar services instead.
If there is no local service and your GP approves and takes a blood sample we can provide this blood test in our research lab.
CONTACT INFORMATIONPlease contact Dr Charles McSharry (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We require all blood samples to be sent to us in our blood collection packs - the blood collection pack will contain all the instructions you will need.
Note: if you provide us with an email address, the result will also be sent via email which will be quicker.
THE LAB ADDRESS
For samples that are not in the collection pack - please note we require you to contact us if you wish to send blood without the blood collection pack:
